1 pre-made pie crust (9-inch)

2 cups fresh spinach, chopped

1 tablespoon olive oil

1 small onion, finely chopped

2 cloves garlic, minced

4 oz goat cheese, crumbled

1 cup ricotta cheese

3 large eggs

1/2 teaspoon salt

1/4 teaspoon black pepper

1/4 teaspoon nutmeg

1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese

Fresh basil leaves for garnish (optional)

Instructions
 

Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).

    Sauté the Spinach: In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the chopped onion and sauté until translucent, about 5 minutes. Stir in the garlic and cook for an additional 1 minute, until fragrant. Add the chopped spinach and cook until wilted, about 2-3 minutes. Remove from heat and let cool slightly.

      Prepare the Cheese Mixture: In a mixing bowl, combine the ricotta cheese, crumbled goat cheese, eggs, salt, black pepper, and nutmeg. Beat until smooth and well mixed.

        Combine Ingredients: Add the sautéed spinach mixture to the cheese mixture and stir until fully combined.

          Fill the Tart: Place the pie crust in a tart pan or pie dish. Pour the spinach and cheese filling into the crust, spreading it evenly.

            Add Parmesan: Sprinkle the grated Parmesan cheese evenly over the top of the filling.

              Bake the Tart: Bake in the preheated oven for 30-35 minutes, or until the filling is set and the top is lightly golden.

                Cool & Serve: Once done, remove the tart from the oven and let it cool for a few minutes. Garnish with fresh basil leaves, if desired, and slice into wedges to serve warm or at room temperature.
