Ingredients

4 large russet potatoes

1/4 cup olive oil

1 packet (1 oz) ranch dressing mix

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1 teaspoon onion powder

1 teaspoon smoked paprika

1/2 teaspoon black pepper

1/2 teaspoon salt

Optional: Fresh parsley for garnish, grated Parmesan cheese

Instructions

Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper for easy cleanup.

Prepare the Potatoes: Scrub the potatoes thoroughly and slice them into wedges, about 1/2 inch thick. Pat them dry with a paper towel to remove excess moisture for a crispier texture.

Season the Wedges: In a large mixing bowl, combine the olive oil, ranch dressing mix, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, black pepper, and salt. Add the potato wedges to the bowl and toss until they are well-coated in the seasoning mixture.

Arrange on Baking Sheet: Spread the seasoned potato wedges in a single layer on the prepared baking sheet. Ensure that they are not overcrowded to allow proper browning.

Bake: Place the baking sheet in the preheated oven and bake for 25-30 minutes, flipping the wedges halfway through the cooking time. They should be golden brown and crispy when done.

Garnish and Serve: Once out of the oven, sprinkle with fresh parsley and grated Parmesan cheese if desired. Serve immediately with your favorite dipping sauce.
