Ingredients
  

1 pound ground turkey

1/2 cup BBQ sauce (your favorite brand or homemade)

1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese

1/4 cup diced red onion

1/4 cup chopped fresh cilantro (optional)

12 slider buns (mini brioche or sesame)

2 tablespoons olive oil

Salt and pepper to taste

Optional toppings: sliced pickles or jalapeños

Instructions
 

Prepare the Turkey Mixture:

    In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground turkey, BBQ sauce, shredded cheddar cheese, diced red onion, cilantro (if using), salt, and pepper. Mix until just combined, being careful not to overwork the meat.

      Form the Sliders:

        Divide the turkey mixture into 12 equal portions (about 2 ounces each). Shape each portion into a small patty.

          Cook the Sliders:

            Heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the turkey patties in batches (if needed) and cook for about 4-5 minutes on each side, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C). Remove from the skillet and let rest for a minute.

              Toast the Buns:

                In the same skillet, add the remaining tablespoon of olive oil. Slice the slider buns in half and place them cut-side down in the skillet. Toast until golden and lightly crispy, about 2-3 minutes.

                  Assemble the Sliders:

                    Place each turkey patty on the bottom half of a toasted bun. Top with additional BBQ sauce, if desired, and add any optional toppings like pickles or jalapeños. Place the top half of the bun on each slider.

                      Serve:
