Ingredients

4 (6 oz) salmon fillets, skin-on or skinless

1/4 cup unsalted butter

1/4 cup honey

2 tablespoons soy sauce

2 cloves garlic, minced

1 teaspoon Dijon mustard

1 teaspoon fresh lemon juice

Salt and black pepper, to taste

2 tablespoons fresh parsley or chives, chopped (for garnish)

Lemon wedges, for serving

Instructions

Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease it.

Prepare the Honey Butter Sauce: In a small saucepan over medium heat, melt the unsalted butter. Once melted, add the honey, soy sauce, minced garlic, Dijon mustard, and lemon juice. Stir well to combine and allow to simmer for 2-3 minutes, letting the flavors meld. Remove from heat.

Season the Salmon: Pat the salmon fillets dry with paper towels. Season both sides with salt and black pepper. Place the salmon fillets on the prepared baking sheet, skin side down.

Glaze the Salmon: Generously brush the honey butter mixture over each salmon fillet, reserving some for later.

Bake the Salmon: Place the baking sheet in the preheated oven and bake for 12-15 minutes, or until the salmon easily flakes with a fork. To achieve a nice glaze, you can broil the salmon for an additional 2-3 minutes at the end of the baking time, keeping a close watch to ensure it doesn't burn.

Finish and Serve: Once cooked, remove the salmon from the oven and drizzle the remaining honey butter sauce over the top. Garnish with freshly chopped parsley or chives and serve with lemon wedges on the side.
