Ingredients

1 pound chicken tenders (about 500g)

3 tablespoons olive oil

2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1 teaspoon onion powder

1 teaspoon smoked paprika

Salt and pepper, to taste

1/4 cup Dijon mustard

2 tablespoons honey

1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar

Fresh chives, finely chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

Marinate the Chicken Tenders: In a large bowl, combine olive oil, lemon juice, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper. Add the chicken tenders, ensuring they are well-coated. Cover and marinate in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes (up to 2 hours for more flavor).

Prepare the Honey Mustard Sauce: In a small bowl, whisk together Dijon mustard, honey, and apple cider vinegar until smooth. Adjust sweetness by adding more honey if desired. Set aside.

Preheat the Grill: Heat your grill or grill pan to medium-high heat. Oil the grill grates lightly to prevent sticking.

Grill the Chicken Tenders: Remove the chicken from the marinade and discard any leftover marinade. Place the chicken tenders on the grill and cook for about 4-5 minutes per side, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C) and the juices run clear.

Serve: Transfer the grilled chicken tenders to a serving platter. Drizzle with the homemade honey mustard sauce and garnish with chopped chives for a fresh pop of flavor.

Enjoy: Serve the chicken tenders warm with extra honey mustard on the side for dipping!
