Ingredients

4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts

1/2 cup unsalted butter (1 stick)

4 cloves garlic, minced

1 teaspoon dried thyme

1 teaspoon dried rosemary

1 teaspoon paprika

Salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste

2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

1 lemon, sliced (for serving)

Instructions

Preheat the Oven: Begin by preheating your oven to 375°F (190°C).

Prepare the Baking Dish: Lightly grease a 9x13 inch baking dish with cooking spray or a little olive oil to prevent sticking.

Make the Garlic Butter: In a small saucepan over medium heat, melt the butter. Once melted, add the minced garlic, dried thyme, dried rosemary, paprika, salt, and black pepper. Stir and cook for about 2-3 minutes until the garlic is fragrant, but not browned.

Season the Chicken: Season the chicken breasts on both sides with salt and pepper. Place the seasoned chicken breasts in the prepared baking dish.

Add the Garlic Butter: Pour the warm garlic butter mixture evenly over the chicken breasts, making sure they are well-coated.

Bake the Chicken: Cover the baking dish with aluminum foil to keep the chicken juicy. Bake in the preheated oven for 25 minutes. After 25 minutes, remove the foil and bake for an additional 10-15 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through and reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (74°C).

Baste and Crisp Up: If desired, you can baste the chicken once with the garlic butter for extra flavor in the last 5 minutes of baking for a beautifully golden finish.

Garnish and Serve: Once cooked, remove the chicken from the oven and let it rest for about 5 minutes. Sprinkle chopped parsley over the top for a fresh touch and serve with lemon slices on the side for a bright flavor boost.
