Ingredients

2 cups plain Greek yogurt

1 cup fresh or frozen cherries, pitted and halved

1/4 cup honey or maple syrup

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

1/2 teaspoon almond extract (optional)

1 cup granola (your choice, preferably clustery)

1/4 cup dark chocolate chips (optional for extra crunch)

Instructions

Prepare the Cherry Mixture: In a medium bowl, combine the halved cherries, honey or maple syrup, vanilla extract, and almond extract if using. Gently mix to coat the cherries in the sweet syrup. Set aside to let the flavors meld.

Mix the Yogurt: In another bowl, stir the Greek yogurt until it’s smooth and creamy. This will be the base for your bites.

Combine: Fold the cherry mixture into the yogurt, being careful not to break the cherries apart too much. Ensure that the cherries are evenly distributed throughout the yogurt.

Prepare the Muffin Tin: Line a mini muffin tin with silicone or paper liners. This will make it easy to pop out the bites once they’re frozen.

Fill the Tins: Spoon the cherry-yogurt mixture into the muffin tin, filling each cup about 2/3 full. Leave room for expansion as they freeze.

Add Crunch: Sprinkle a generous amount of granola on top of each yogurt cup, pressing down slightly to adhere. If you’re adding chocolate chips, sprinkle those on top as well for extra flavor.

Freeze: Transfer the muffin tin to the freezer and let it freeze for at least 4 hours or until fully solid.

Serve: Once frozen, carefully pop the bites out of the muffin tin. You can serve them immediately or store them in an airtight container in the freezer for up to two weeks.

Enjoy: Perfect for a refreshing snack or dessert, enjoy your Frozen Yogurt Cherry Crunch Bites straight from the freezer!
