Ingredients

2 cups egg noodles

1 can (15 oz) tuna, drained and flaked

1 cup frozen peas

1 cup canned cream of mushroom soup

1/2 cup milk

1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese

1/4 cup chopped onion

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1 teaspoon black pepper

1/2 teaspoon salt

1 cup crushed potato chips (for topping)

1 tablespoon olive oil

Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).

Cook the Noodles: In a large pot of boiling salted water, cook the egg noodles until al dente according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.

Sauté the Onions: In a medium skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the chopped onions and sauté until they are translucent, about 3-4 minutes.

Combine Ingredients: In a large mixing bowl, combine the cooked noodles, sautéed onions, flaked tuna, frozen peas, cream of mushroom soup, milk, garlic powder, black pepper, and salt. Mix thoroughly until all ingredients are well incorporated.

Transfer to Baking Dish: Pour the mixture into a greased 2-quart casserole dish. Spread it out evenly.

Add Cheese: Sprinkle the shredded cheddar cheese evenly over the top of the casserole.

Top with Chips: Finally, add a layer of crushed potato chips over the cheese for a crunchy topping.

Bake: Cover the casserole with aluminum foil and bake in the preheated oven for 20 minutes. After 20 minutes, remove the foil and bake for an additional 10-15 minutes or until the top is golden brown and bubbly.

Garnish and Serve: Once baked, take the casserole out of the oven and let it rest for about 5 minutes. Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
