Ingredients

1 package (1 lb) of refrigerated pizza dough

1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted

4 cloves garlic, minced

1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese

2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped (or 1 tablespoon dried)

1 teaspoon Italian seasoning

1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)

1/4 teaspoon salt

1/4 teaspoon black pepper

Marinara sauce for dipping (optional)

Instructions

Prepare the Dough: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). On a floured surface, roll out the refrigerated pizza dough into a rectangle approximately 1/4 inch thick.

Make the Garlic Butter: In a small bowl, combine the melted butter and minced garlic. Mix well.

Assemble Knots: Brush about half of the garlic butter mixture over the surface of the dough. Sprinkle with mozzarella, Parmesan, parsley, Italian seasoning, red pepper flakes, salt, and black pepper.

Cut & Tie: Using a pizza cutter or knife, cut the dough into strips about 1 inch wide. Take each strip and tie it into a knot, tucking the ends underneath. Place each knot onto a parchment-lined baking sheet.

Brush & Bake: Once all knots are formed, brush them generously with the remaining garlic butter mixture. Bake in the preheated oven for 15-18 minutes, or until golden brown.

Garnish & Serve: Remove from the oven and let cool for a few minutes. If you like, sprinkle with additional parsley and serve warm with marinara sauce for dipping.
