Ingredients

16 large white mushrooms, stems removed

6 slices of bacon, diced

1 cup sharp cheddar cheese, shredded

1/2 cup cream cheese, softened

1/4 cup green onions, finely chopped

2 cloves garlic, minced

1/2 teaspoon black pepper

1/4 teaspoon smoked paprika

1/4 teaspoon salt

2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).

Prepare the Bacon: In a skillet over medium heat, cook the diced bacon until crispy. Remove from heat and drain on paper towels to remove excess grease.

Make the Filling: In a mixing bowl, combine the cream cheese, shredded cheddar cheese, cooked bacon, green onions, minced garlic, black pepper, smoked paprika, and salt. Mix until well-blended and creamy.

Stuff the Mushrooms: Using a spoon, generously fill each mushroom cap with the cheese and bacon mixture, pressing down slightly to ensure the filling adheres.

Arrange in a Baking Dish: Place the stuffed mushrooms in a baking dish, spacing them evenly apart.

Bake: Bake the stuffed mushrooms in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until the tops are golden and bubbly.

Garnish and Serve: Remove from the oven and let cool slightly. Sprinkle fresh parsley over the top for a pop of color and serve warm. Enjoy your delicious bite-sized treats!
